課程概述 |
This is your first doctoral course at GIIB-NTU, which will serve as a foundation for your study, no matter which concentration you will get into. After this seminar, you can also expect to lay out some cornerstones and perhaps, erect some columns or beams as well. |

課程目標 |
Through this seminar course with respect to the domain of IB, this instructor intends: 1) to examine major theories of IB both across various approach and masters
2) to raise the level of learning and research curiosity by questioning and answering perspectives
2) to develop research skills by citation and abstraction for further appreciation.

課程要求 |
As the assessment implies, you will cultivate your abilities of listening and speaking in (i), reading, digesting and exercising in (ii), writing in (i) & (ii), critical thinking, library research, and teamwork in (iii) and (iv), and integrated all of the above in (v). |

Most of the articles and papers are available from online database-MUSE整合查詢系統 at the NTU Library, together with the assistance of your fellow classmates. It is the tradition of doctoral training to build up your own pyramid upon some of the foundations and some of the knowledge/wisdom of your not-so-old “前輩”. Nevertheless, there are some others to be searched for by yourself as part of the learning process. To look into the past and to look for the thereafter have been the focus of scholastic spirit. |
