課程概述

隨著生活型態的變異,人們處在各類室內場所的時間也隨之增長,又由於室內許多有害物質的濃度比室外高,室內空氣品質的管理更顯重要。本課程透過教師授課、學生課堂參與及案例討論等互動式課程設計,幫助同學了解室內空氣品質的相關議題,從汙染物的來源、傳輸、量測及介入策略,到現行的法規及近年受到關注的氣候變遷影響等,對室內空氣品質領域進行基本且完整的介紹。
Difference in life style has led to a change in the time people spend indoors, including in different types of buildings and countries. This also involves elevated exposure to indoor air pollutants which very often have higher concentrations compared to those outdoors. As a result, the importance of indoor air quality (IAQ) cannot be over-emphasized.
This class is designed to cover a wide range of IAQ issues, starting from pollutant emissions, transport, measurement, and intervention strategies, to IAQ regulations and its possible alterations due to climate change impacts. Students will familiarize IAQ topics through lectures, in-class discussions, homework (lab report) and the class project.
 

課程目標
1. 了解造成室內空氣品質不佳之物理性、化學性及生物性影響因子。

2. 藉由案例討論深入了解室內空氣污染調查及改善方法 (汙染物來源、採樣方法、介入策略等), 並培養小組分工合作的能力。

3. 能針對自選之IAQ主題完成期末口頭與書面報告。

1. Students will be familiarized with physical, chemical and biological factors that influence IAQ.

2. Students will develop skills in indoor air pollution investigation and be equipped with knowledge in intervention strategies.

3. Each student will design the final project for their chosen topic and give an oral presentation and written report.
 
課程要求
課堂除了教師授課,亦採用課堂討論、回家作業及個人報告之方式進行。

The course sessions will include presentation on the topic of the day by the lecturer, in-class discussions by groups, individual homework (lab report), exams and a creative design of the final project presentation and other topics of interest.
