課程概述 |
This graduate level introduction to health promotion follows a three-part structure, containing conceptual/theoretical and practice underpinnings that are fundamental to this field. Part one lays the foundations for the history of and basic notions underlying health promotion. Part two covers the key strategies for health promotion, as addressed in Ottawa Charter. Based on these strategies, Part three presents current endeavors and researches that promote health in various settings. |

Students are able to:
1. understand the concepts and strategies related to health promotion
2. analyze health promotion practices and interventions in the real world
3. describe the roles of health promotion in the area of public health
|

課程要求 |
Students are expected to read required readings, prepare weekly notes, participate in discussion, present in class and complete a term paper. |
