課程概述 |
According to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), Children range from zero to 17 years old, which is a diverse social group. Compared with doing research with adult groups, doing research with minors requires consideration more knowledge, abilities and tools. Also, the researcher needs to consider of different stakeholders, such as the gatekeeper, guardian, and children who participate in the research, of whom different development, power relation, ethical issues should be considered. This course aims to teach students child-friendly and child-centered research methods. |

At the end of the course, the students are expected to
1. Describe the key concepts and processes of policy-making to improve the health of children.
2. Apply the principles and technique of research methodology to do child health research.
