課程概述

課程自實驗設計與流行病學觀察性研究切入，探討研究設計與基本統計和進階統計方法之相關。內容涵蓋不同統計哲學觀下如何處理複雜研究設計及觀察性研究的偏差所使用之實證醫學統計方法。
The course begins with the introduction of how basic and advanced (including Bayesian) methods can be applied to different statistical studies in order to estimate the truth of hypothesis in the field of health care science.  

課程目標
 使修課同學了解如何在生物醫學領域中設計適當之研究設計，並探討在不同研究設計下可能產生之偏差，進而知悉如何設計適當研究。

(The objective of this course is to render students grasp how to design a suitable study and the consequence biases on different issues.)
