課程概述

本課程針對已修習微生物課程之學生，進行環境微生物議題之討論與文獻回顧。議題著重在與環境、食品與職業健康科學相關之微生物暴露與控制。此外，本課程將安排學生於實驗室學習與進行實場採樣分析，強化學生的實作能力；學生也將學習如何設計與進行研究調查，並透過解析數據之訓練與文獻探討能力之培養，學習如何完成一份書面報告。

課程目標

在修習本課程之後，學生將：
1.能應用知識客觀評論環境職業健康科學的資訊 (EOHS MS-B)
2.善用知識與技能評估、設計和執行環境職業衛生相關議題的研究 (EOHS MS-C)

課程要求

1. 學生需已先修習微生物學或環境微生物學相關課程
2. 學生需閱讀與評論學術文獻、繳交作業、參與實驗室學習、進行口頭報告、完成研究計劃設計與實作、參與課堂討論，並於期限內繳交期末書面報告。

1.	書面報告	35%	1. Students are required to write a final report of the project they have completed, mainly based on their hands-on practice in sampling and analysis and the articles reviewed. 2. The written report should include the following sections: (1) Introduction (background information and importance in environmental and occupational health sciences), (2) Main content (questions to be answered, methodology used, significant findings and discussion linked to academic articles) (3) Conclusion and recommendation, (4) What have learned from the practice, and (5) Reference.
2.	繳交作業	25%	1. Students are required to submit assignments during the classes of article review by writing to express article major content and student’s learning/comment/question. 2. Assessment of student's understanding and knowledge after reading academic articles, and of student’s ability to identify information from the articles.
3.	口頭報告	25%	1. Students are required to present orally in class on academic articles reviewed, results of laboratory training, proposal of the study, and results of the final report. 2. Assessment of student's understanding in knowledge of academic articles and laboratory training, and of the student’s ability to apply knowledge and skills to design and conduct a microbial study in the scope of environmental and occupational health sciences.
4.	課程參與	15%	Assessment of student's participation and mutual discussion in class.

本校建議 A+ 比例上限為 20% ，非強制規定，授課教師可依課程要求調整，建議必修課程參考。
