The objective of this course is to train students to integrate the best currently available scientific information to complete a risk assessment report. At first, students will be asked to identify a topic of their own interests, will search the currently available toxicological data and environmental monitoring or food residue data. and will conduct hazard identification, dose-response assessment, and risk characterization by themselves. If neccessary, additonal environmental modeling and statistical modeling courses will be provided to help students upgrade their assessment skills. The final report will be written by following a specific journal format and intended to be sumbitted to this jounal.
