課程概述

This introductory course will cover a broad range of issues in global health, including the measurement of global burden of disease, globalization and health, social determinants of health, non-communicable diseases, communicable diseases, climate change, community health, universal health coverage, and global health agendas and organizations. 

課程目標
 1. To describe the global burden of disease and risk factors.
2. To understand the key drivers of population health across geographic boundaries.
3. To understand the major interventions in global health and the challenges of resource allocation.
 
課程要求
 1. Complete pre-class assignments
2. Be punctual and participate in class discussions and activities
3. Two group project (GBD and Social Determinants of Health)
4. One individual essay (Communicable Diseases)
5. One worksheet (with questions from multiple lecturers)
6. Additional assignments from lecturers (TBD)
