課程概述 |
This class also meets on Fridays for 5 field trips.
The aim of this course is to introduce contemporary issues in global health science. This introductory course will cover a broad range of issues in global health, including the measurement of global burden of disease, globalization and health, social determinants of health, planetary health, and health system reform. The course will be conducted through lectures, in class discussion, individual based homework, and group based projects. |

1. To describe the global burden of disease and risk factors
2. To understand the key drivers of population health across geographies
3. To understand the major interventions in global health and the challenge of resource allocation |

課程要求 |
Students should read and review the reading material before and after the lecture. The slides of each lecture will be available on CEIBA for students to download. This course includes lectures for critical appraisal. Students need to downlo ad a paper from CEIBA for paper critique. |
