課程概述 |
The rapid growth of the integrated circuit (IC) industry has led to the emergence of nanoelectronics process engineering as a new advanced discipline. This course introduces nanoelectronics, CMOS scaling according to the ITRS roadmap and International Roadmap for Devices and Systems (IRDS), current FinFET technology, and challenges ahead for further scaling. This course provides fundamental CMOS digital IC engineering knowledge, including introducing three essential elements- technology, device, and circuit.

課程目標 |
Students will learn the fundamental background of advanced nanoelectronics. This course attracts graduate students pursuing further research in nanoelectronics and nanotechnology. This course is more device-oriented, application-intensive, technology-relevant, and provides a strong semiconductor background.
