We will mostly focus on those tree-related algorithmic problems and their applications. Some previous courses can be found at https://www.csie.ntu.edu.tw/~kmchao/course.html. |

To have some experiences in understanding the tree structures and properties from the view of theoretical computer science. |

Two midterm exams (35% each)
Oral presentation or implementation of selected topics or papers (20%)
