課程概述 |
This is an elective course intended for senior undergraduates and graduate students.
This course covers important concepts in computer security. We will discuss a variety of attack and defense techniques for networking protocols, web, and systems. Topics include DoS/DDoS attack and defense, secure routing, traffic monitoring, anonymity and privacy, censorship resilience, and cloud security. |
課程目標 |
By finishing this course, a student should be able to:
1. Describe basic security concepts and ethics in cyber security
2. Identify security threats, and the security services and mechanisms to counter them
3. Build simple protection mechanisms
4. Analyze and reason why real-world security systems may fail to achieve desired goals |
