課程概述 |
In this course, the technology development of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) will be discussed. Fundamental theories and practical applications will be included. Finally, the current design issues on high-brightness LEDs and high-power LEDs, such as heat-dissipation and optical design will be discussed. |
課程目標 |
Students are expected to understand working mechanisms of a monochromatic LED/white LED, phosphors, packaging of LEDs, basic color science and how LEDs can be utilized into different applications. |
