課程概述 |
Each lecture would be tailored according to students' understanding. Subjects to be covered for this course are:
1) Electromagnetism
2) Basic numerical methods
3) Introduction to optics simulation techniques
4) Monte Carlo technique
5) Numerical solutions of Maxwell's equations
5) Finite-difference time-domain method
6) Modeling practical problems |
課程目標 |
這門課的主要目的乃是在建立對光學模擬技術的瞭解,並且能實際獨力完成模擬研究問題,以應付日後在研究上所需。本課程將著重在時域有限差分法與蒙地卡羅法在光學模擬的應用。
在學期終了,學生將:
1) 充分瞭解光學模擬的基本知識
2) 具備獨力完成利⽤時域有限差分法與蒙地卡羅法模擬光散射或是其他研究課題 |
