This course introduces students to various issues relating to the law and practice of international commercial transactions in Asia, focusing primarily on the representative common law systems of Singapore and Hong Kong, with English law as a comparator. Students will be exposed to selected debates and developments in respect of sale of goods, bank transfers, commercial dispute resolution, and sustainability challenges. Students completing this course will be expected to gain knowledge of contemporary legal issues affecting international commercial transactions in Asia.
