課程概述	幫助學生了解與思考生物互動的關係、生物與環境的關係、限制生物分佈範圍和數量的因子。課程將包含基礎和應用生態學，探討範圍從個體到生物圈，包括：生理生態學、行為學、族群生態學、群聚生態學、生態系機能、生物地理學、生物圈觀念、生態保育學、氣候變遷生態學等，旨在提供學生對於自然環境運作有概括性之了解。
課程目標	幫助學生瞭解生態學基本概念、知識、相關研究方法，以及如何應用生態原則解決環境議題的實務工作
