課程概述 |
本課程以學生輪流上台發表學術演講為主軸,其他同學則需聽講並參予討論。每人每學期以演講一次為原則,並需擔任一次主持人,負責介紹當次演講者背景、演講主題、主持討論和掌控時間等工作。 |

課程目標 |
培養學生檢索、選擇、閱讀期刊論文與演講發表之能力, 同時參予其他同學之演講,藉以獲得學術研究之啟蒙。 |

課程要求 |
96學年度第一學期大四書報討論注意事項
1. 每位同學必須依其興趣邀請一位生命科學相關領域老師（不限本系專任），對其報告論文之選擇、報告內容之組織、及報告技巧予以協助和指導。學生報告時請邀請指導老師出席。
2. 論文之選擇應以2005年至今所發表之生命科學相關領域之SCI期刊的原創性研究文章（original research paper）(不得選擇 review 綜合論述或 notes, short communication, letter to editor 之類短篇文章），並須獲指導老師同意。論文題目應於10月2日以前登記，題目相同時以先登記者優先採用。
3. 論文影本應於一週前送交書報討論主持老師每人一份。報告題目及中文摘要，應於前一週星期五張貼於四樓佈告欄專題討論項下，並於報告前分發同學。摘要內容應包括：報告人姓名、報告時間、地點、指導老師、論文題目、期刊名（卷期、頁數），中文摘要，以及相關參考文獻。
4. 各類型參考文獻之編寫格式範例如下：

5. 每人報告時間25 ~ 30分鐘，發問及討論15 ~ 20分鐘。由上一個星期報告的同學主持與計時。每位學生於課堂結束交回討論評比表。
6. 報告時請利用 PowerPoint 檔案輔助演講，均應以英文呈現(生物學名宜加註中文名稱) ，字體和圖表均以清晰簡明為原則（如一張投影片只放一個圖或表為宜）。
7. 學期成績，以專題論文報告之準備、現場之表現為主，出席、填寫討論評比表、發問、及隨堂討論亦將列入考量。
8. 表現不佳（成績低於70分）者必須於期末重講。
9. 無故缺席者，一次扣總分5分，遲到一次扣總分一分;遲到20分鐘以上者，以無故缺席論。
