課程概述 |
This is an intensive course focusing on gene expression and regulation in eukaryotes. Eight lectures covering wide aspects of transcriptional regulation will be provided to undergraduate students who are interested in this field. In addition to the general knowledge in transcriptional regulation, new topics and unsolved issues will also be discussed. |
課程目標 |
The aims of this course are to provide a comprehensive introduction on different aspects of transcription and gene regulation, to emphasize the importance of basic research, and to facilitate student’s ability in reading and discussing original literatures. |
課程要求 |
Students are expected to follow the lectures and readings in 7 weeks. Active participations are expected. Students with general background in biochemistry and genetics are required. |
