課程概述 |
本課程以地球歷史、大陸漂移和氣候變遷為背景，介紹原核生物 (藍綠藻) 和真核生物的起源，由葉綠素分子的演化看藻類的演化，由陸生植物的起源看蘚苔植物入侵陸地，由維管束組織的產生看蕨類植物崛起，由種子的演化看裸子植物的出現，最後由花的演化和雙重授精看被子植物在地球上的生存優勢。課程中介紹並比較常見且重要的藻類、蘚苔、蕨類、裸子及被子植物和菌類之外部形態、內部構造、生活史、生殖器官之演化和各群植物間之親緣關係。 |

課程目標 |
本課程旨在教授同學正確的植物多樣性知識，了解世界生物多樣性公約的意義。上課內容主要依據教科書，但會加入最新的植物多樣性觀念或議題，使同學在固有知識外亦能觀察並鑑定常見的藻類、蘚苔植物、蕨類植物、裸子植物、被子植物和菌類。此有助於了解植物多樣性，並進而達到認識生態環境，對我們生存的地球有更多的了解，並能保護地球上有限的資源。 |
