課程概述 |
Plant developmental genetic and evolution are a very advance field for researchers. Most job oppertunity in plant science now offer to people hasve this training. Therefore this course will introduce you the concept of this "evo-devo". This will include using modern evolutionary aproach, molecular developmental genetics technique and plant anatomy and morphology observation. together this will enable students to have magnificent view on current trends of plant "evo-devo" |
課程目標 |
The goal of this course will focus on genetic control of flowering process, developmental program of leaves, genes for embryo development, seeds/fruit development and their possible genetic control, pollination and genes for flower symmetry. We encourage students looking for further educations on plant science to join this lecture as we also invite foreign speaker to join the class. |
課程要求 |
One mid-term exam make up 30% of the grade. Performance of paper discussion (oral presentation) adds another 30%. Students are also asked to write “a small review paper” (6-8 pages) on a topic of their choice related to plant developmental genetics and evolution. This will make the remaining 30% of the course grade.。 |
