課程概述 |
Cancer biology is a relatively new area of biology. The development of new concepts in cancer biology will be lectured by introduction of oncogenes, tumor suppressor genes, metastasis, and cancer therapy at the molecular and cellular level. |
|
課程目標 |
The goal of this class is to provide students an overview of the development of contemporary cancer biology and new concepts in the field. The class is also intended to provide a foundation to students who are interested in cancer research. |
|
課程要求 |
(1) The lectures are primarily intended for graduate students.
(2) Electronic files of teaching materials will be available in advance of each class.
(3) Mid-term and final exams are in the format of in-class written test.
(4) Only the materials from lectures will be used for the exams. However, students are urged to go through the textbook too.
