課程概述 |
This is a master level course aims to provide internship opportunities with practical applications of biodiversity and conservation biology. Students will perform practical training with partner organizations. The goal is to apply textbook knowledge and skills in real-world issues.

Grading and Assessment:
60% Evaluation by Mentors at partner institutions
20% Weekly summary
20% Final Report |
課程目標 |
1.Allow students to enhance their training by experiencing collaboration within industry, government agency, non-government organization
2.Facilitate the application of biodiversity research
3.Provide opportunities to advance the missions of partner organizations |
課程要求 |
1.Students need to fill out the application form and rank their internship preferences. The course instructor will contact the company, but there is no guarantee that students will be able to intern there.
2.The internship organizations will be updated annually.
3.A written and oral report is required at the end of the semester.
**If the internship organization is matched by the International Mentorship Program from OIA NTU, students need to inform their supervising professor of the contact information for the internship organization and mentor. They also need to submit a final report, which will be evaluated by the program director to determine whether it is relevant to the industry and eligible for credit transfer. |
