Course Description

THIS COURSE IS DESIGNED TO ENABLE DOCTORAL STUDENTS TO COMPREHEND A WIDE RANGE OF PHARMACOLOGY KNOWLEDGE AND THE LATEST DEVELOPMENT IN RELATED FIELDS, SUCH AS TRANSLATIONAL RESEARCH AND METHODS. STUDENTS WHO PARTICIPATE IN THIS CLASS ARE EXPECTED TO STRENGTHEN THEIR ABILITY IN RESEARCH THROUGH INTERACTIVE AND STIMULATING DISCUSSIONS TO IMPROVE LOGICAL THINKING AND THOUGHTS ORGANIZATION AS WELL AS BROADEN THEIR UNDERSTANDING INTO OTHER FIELDS.
STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO PRESENT THE LATEST REVIEW PAPERS RELATED TO MEDICINE AND TO DISCUSS WITH THEIR MENTORS. IN ADDITION, STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO COMPARE AND CONTRAST THE EXPERIMENTAL DESIGN AND EXPLAIN HOW THE DATA WERE INTERPRETED DURING THEIR PRESENTATIONS.
EACH STUDENT IS SCORED BY ALL FACULTY MEMBERS ACCORDING TO THE EXTENT OF UNDERSTANDING AND THE LOGIC OF EXPRESSION ON THE ORAL PRESENTATION.
