Course Description

THE COURSE IS DELIVERED JOINTLY BY EVERY FACULTY, WHO WILL TEACH AN EXPERIMENTAL TECHNIQUE COMMONLY USED IN THE LABORATORY FOR PHARMACOLOGICAL RESEARCH. THE TECHNIQUES TAUGHT INCLUDE TISSUE FROZEN SECTION, PARAFFIN EMBEDDING, IMMUNOHISTOCHEMISTRY, CARDIAC ELECTROPHYSIOLOGY, BRAIN SLICE PREPARATION, RNA EXTRACTION, RT-PCR, PROTEIN EXTRACTION, WESTERN BLOTTING, MICROINJECTION OF OOCYTES, FLOW CYTOMETRY, CONFOCAL MICROSCOPY, HPLC, FPLC, ANGIOGENESIS ASSAYS AND SELECTED ANIMAL MODELS.
