課程大綱 (Course Outline):
分子遺傳分析課程是對當代分子遺傳學上的幾種重要模式生物:酵母菌、線蟲、果蠅和阿拉伯芥,就其生物特性以及分子遺傳研究方法做完整的介紹。課程目的在使同學對這幾種生物系統有基本的認識,便於閱讀以這些生物系統為材料的研究報告,並學習各種研究策略與方法,加強日後深造研究的基礎。 This course is designed to introduce four major model organisms in modern molecular genetiics, the budding yeast, worm, fruit fly and Arabidopsis. The aim of the course is to help students understand the unique properties, methods and research strategies of these model systems, and thus to establish the essential background for future research career. In addition, we hope students will appreciate the beauty and joy of science research from this course.

教材 (Study Materials):
課程教材將以講義、具有代表性和最近之研究報告(original research articles)和綜合評論(reviews)為主。
Significant and current original research articles and reviews will be the main study materials.
成績評量方式 (Evaluation):
學習評量將包括課堂討論,口頭報告,及考試,視學生人數而定。
Class discussion, oral presentation and written examination.
