◎ How to Add this Course (The number in the column indicates how you can add the course during the course add/drop period):
Type 1 courses: There is no capacity limit for the course. You are free to add the course online.
Type 2 courses: Students can add courses online with the given permission number by the class instructor.
Type 3 courses: The first week after the classes begin: Students register the courses and the courses will be allocated based the students’ preference order. The second week after the classes begin: Students add the courses online with the given permission number.
◎ Limits on Course-adding/dropping:
The "Limits" are only applicable in Pre-registration. During the course add/drop period after the classes begin, most limits are lifted. However, students will still be blocked from enrolling if :
※They do not meet the prerequisites of a course, or
※They are not allowed to add or register higher level courses that are not opened for lower level students.
If you still wish to enroll in such a course, you must use the given permission number or file a “Course Underload Request Form” with approvals and signatures from the instructor and the chair/director of the home department/ institute, and submit the form to the responsible unit in the Office of Academic Affairs within two weeks after classes begin.
◎ Add/Drop Procedures for Inter-University Courses:
Please refer to the relevant guidelines and instructions in the “Course Selection” on the myNTU .
◎Liberal education courses marked in yellow are subsidized with teaching assistants (TAs) and discussion or recitation session.
◎ The icon indicates the classroom is accessible facility which can be reached by elevator.
